Terms of Service

By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

1. The platform

ServiceHub T&T operates a two-sided marketplace connecting customers ("Customers") with independent service providers ("Providers"). We are not a party to the service contract between Customers and Providers — we provide the platform, tools, and payment infrastructure that facilitates those contracts.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Phone number verification via OTP is required for customer accounts.
• Provider accounts require identity verification and banking setup before going live on the platform.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

3. Bookings and payments

• Payments are held by the platform and released to the Provider only upon job completion.
• Booking payment terms (full upfront, deposit, or pay-on-completion) are agreed at time of booking and clearly disclosed before confirmation.
• Pricing includes a base service fee plus any agreed optional extras.
• No-shows by a Provider result in no charge to the Customer and the booking can be cancelled.
• Customers must not request refunds after a job has been completed and payment released.

4. Provider obligations

• Providers must complete identity and banking verification before accepting bookings.
• Providers must honour confirmed bookings or cancel with reasonable advance notice.
• Providers must not solicit off-platform payments for jobs sourced through ServiceHub T&T.
• Providers are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, or partners of ServiceHub T&T.
• Providers are solely responsible for the quality and safety of services rendered.

5. Customer obligations

• Customers must provide accurate job descriptions, location information, and access to the work site.
• Customers must not engage Providers off-platform to circumvent fees after an initial booking through ServiceHub T&T.
• Reviews must be honest and based on actual firsthand experience.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the platform to harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users; post false, misleading, or fraudulent information; engage in any activity that violates Trinidad & Tobago law; or attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform.

7. Fees

Use of the platform is free for Customers. Providers pay a commission on completed jobs. Current fee rates are disclosed within the app at the time of provider registration. Fees are deducted before payout.

8. Reviews and ratings

Customers may leave reviews after job completion. ServiceHub T&T reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our policies. Providers may not offer incentives in exchange for reviews.

9. Intellectual property

All platform content, design, and software is owned by ServiceHub T&T. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

ServiceHub T&T facilitates connections between Customers and Providers but does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any service performed. Our liability in any dispute is limited to the transaction value of the relevant booking.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad & Tobago.
